Sketch Dump!

I've been poring over The Art of Tangled lately, especially Glen Keane's and Jin Kim's work, in preparation for an upcoming art show at Gallery 1988 (the show isn't Disney themed, but my piece is somewhat Disney-style).

HelloGiggles & Gallery 1988 Present: Young Adult

I'm very excited to be a part of the upcoming Young Adult show at Gallery 1988 Melrose opening Feb 2nd in Los Angeles. Gallery 1988 collaborated with the website hellogiggles (an online community for women founded by Zooey Deschanel, Molly McAleer and Sophia Rossi) on this show themed around young adult book series such as Nancy Drew, Sweet Valley High and the Baby Sitters Club (my personal third-grade favorite).

I decided to draw the four original members of the BSC (Kristy, Claudia, Stacey, and Mary Anne) and created 9x12" stretched canvas prints of the individual girls and an 11x17" giclee print of all four together (signed & numbered limited run of 20!)

New Shirt Styles for the Ladies

Just added a women's long sleeve raglan shirt and a women's fitted tee in slate gray to my etsy shop. Makes a great gift for yourself or the Khaleesi.

River Bottom Nightmare Band for Pop! 2 Show

Ltd. Art Gallery's 2nd annual Pop! show opens today! I made this poster for the River Bottom Nightmare Band from "Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas" (a favorite of mine since I was little). I did one "original" printed on canvas and a limited edition run of 50 8"x10" prints (available through Ltd.'s site and later through my etsy shop). I'm also thinking of making it into a t-shirt, if enough people want it. :-)

You can now order your very own Mother of Dragons T Shirt or 8x10" limited edition print through my Etsy shop. There are only 16 prints left out of the run of 50; they're signed and numbered, and I won't be printing any more of them in the foreseeable future (hence the "limited edition") so get one while you can!

I'm also planning on offering the shirt in a racerback tank top style soon, so stay tuned!

Also, check out this article on Kotaku.com about my piece!

Exclamation point!
